Black Bean Sweet Potato Burger

1 cup black beans
1 medium sweet potato, peeled, diced, steamed or baked
1 egg
2 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp minced garlic 
1/4 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp paprika
Salt & pepper, to taste
1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs

Add all ingredients to a food processor. Pulse ingredients until blended. Transfer mixture to a bowl and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 1 tbsp oil. Remove mixture from refrigerator, form 5 patties and place in skillet once hot. DO NOT flip until fully cooked on one side, about 5-6 minutes. Flip and cook another 5-6 minutes. Top with your favorite burger toppings.
