Card Books

From birthday to Christmas cards, I keep them all. If your sentimental like me, you find it very hard to throw away cards from family and friends. I love the fact that in 10 years I'll still be able to find all of my 1st Mothers Day cards.

A great way to minimize the clutter of these cards is to create card books. I picked up these book rings for less then $5 at the local office supplies store. Simply punch 2 holes in each card and feed the book ring through. You can also use ribbon instead of book rings, though book rings are easier to continuously add cards to throughout the year. You can also create covers for the card book with the year of which cards are in that book.

Sometimes when I'm bored I will flip through these books and it brings back many happy memories. It's pretty cool that when Hendrix is older he will be able to read through his first birthday cards from both of his great grandmothers.
