Cheesy Pea Fritters

1 cup cooked peas
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp dry basil leaves
1/2 tsp dry parsley flakes
1 egg
1/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
Vegetable oil, for frying
Salt, pepper to taste

In a blender add peas, 1/4 cup cheese, basil, parsley, egg, and flour. Blend until well combined. Stir in rest of cheese. Add 1 tbsp vegetable oil to large frying pan over medium heat. Drop batter in pancake size into pan. Cook each side about 3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towel lined plate. Serve immediately or freeze.
