Milk Painting

It's a beautiful day outside today but unfortunately we cannot enjoy it because Hendrix is sick with a cold. Since enrolling Hendrix in school, he's been more interested in artwork, which is great!

After about 10 minutes of painting, the paintbrush went straight into his mouth.

Milk Paint Recipe
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
Food coloring
Ice cube tray
**Fill ice cube tray with condensed milk. Squeeze a drop or two of food coloring into each cube. Don't be afraid to mix colors to get more of a variety.

Hendrix had so much fun painting. I love how shiny the condense milk gets. Once fully dried (a few hours), the sticky consistency goes away but the shininess stays.

I display Hendrix artwork by hanging it on the wall. I tied twine to two nails I hammered into the wall. Hang each piece with a clothespin. I'll probably add another one below it. Between all of the art Hendrix does at school and home, we have lots to display.

In the near future I plan on purchasing mailing/Kraft tubes, writing the school year on the top and saving my favorite art pieces from the school year in them. This will save on space and keep them organized.
