Pumpkin Granola Bars

1/4 cup flour
2 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup molasses or maple syrup
1 cup canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)
1/2 cup milk of choice
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup chocolate chips 
1/4 cup raisins

Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl mix together flour, baking powder, salt, pumpkin pie spice. Add oats and brown sugar. Mix together well. 

In a separate bowl mix together canned pumpkin, egg, milk, vanilla extract, and molasses. Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips and raisins. 

Grease 8x8 (or similar size) baking dish. Spoon batter and flatten with back of spoon. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool completely then cut into desired bar size. Can be stored in refrigerator and warmed before eating. 

* Add ins can be any you choose. Pumpkin seeds, raisins, chocolate chips, cinnamon chips, flaxseed, nuts, etc.
