Broccoli & Cheese Quiche

1 pie crust (homemade or premade)
2 cups broccoli florets
4 eggs
1 cup milk of choice 
1/2 medium onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoon olive oil
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp dry mustard 
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 garlic powder
1/2 cup shredded cheddar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add olive oil to saucepan over medium heat. Once warm, add diced onions. Cook until translucent (about 6 minutes). Add minced garlic. Cook another minute. 

Add roughly chopped broccoli. (Finely chop if desired). Sprinkle with 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper. Mix thoroughly. Cook until broccoli is bright green. Take off burner and let cool.

In a large mixing bowl add eggs, milk, remaining salt/pepper and spices. Mix thoroughly. 

Add 1/4 cup cheese to broccoli mixture and mix well. Evenly distribute broccoli mixture into pie crust. Pour egg mixture evenly on top. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake for 30-45 minutes.
