Quinoa "Oatmeal"

1 tsp cinnamon 
1/2 cup quinoa, rinsed
1 cup milk (I used organic soy)
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp agave, or sweetener of choice
Topping of choice, if desired

*In a small saucepan, bring milk to a boil. Add quinoa and return to a boil.
*Reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for about 10 minutes until liquid has halfway absorbed. 
*Stir in cinnamon, brown sugar and agave. Cover and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
*Serve plain or add desired toppings.

Yummy toppings to add: almond butter, mashed banana, jam, berries, homemade granola, nuts, etc.
