Easy Meat Sauce

1lb ground beef
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1 15oz can of sauce
2 teaspoons kale powder
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 large carrots, peeled/chopped, steamed and puréed 
Salt and pepper to taste

Add vegetable oil to a large frying pan over medium heat. When hot add ground beef and chop up. Cook until no longer pink. Add onion. Cook for another 3 minutes. Add sauce, kale powder, garlic, basil, oregano, carrot purée, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil then simmer for 20 minutes.
